Dr. Purcell is board certified in vascular surgery. He earned his medical degree from the Loma Linda School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. He then went on to complete a General Surgery Residency as well as a Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship at the prestigious Texas A&M Health Science Center at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Dr. Purcell feels his career in surgery is a calling and is passionate about all aspects of vascular surgery. He enjoys the relationships he is able to build with his patients and considers it a privilege to give his patients the best care possible, with the best treatments available. Dr. Purcell joined Premier Heart and Vascular Center in 2025, bringing nearly a decade of vascular surgery experience.
