Mesenteric artery stenting

This minimally invasive procedure involves inserting a thin catheter through a blood vessel—usually in the groin—and guiding it to the affected mesenteric artery. A balloon is then inflated to open the narrowed area, and a stent (a small mesh tube) is placed to keep the artery open and maintain healthy blood flow.
