Spine access surgery

Spine access surgery is a collaborative procedure in which the vascular surgeon provides safe access to the spine through the abdominal or retroperitoneal (behind the abdominal cavity) area. This is commonly done in preparation for spinal procedures such as anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF) or other anterior spinal reconstructions.
